As seen on CultureMap: The Whippersnapper will transform itself into Dante’s Inferno, Beetlejuice’s infamous hangout

A bar on Dallas’ Henderson Avenue famous for its pop-ups has another teed up: The Whippersnapper, located at 1806 McMillan Ave., is deploying a new pop-up with a Beetlejuice theme including bizarre decor and themed cocktails, evoking the gothic charm of the Tim Burton classic film.

The pop-up will debut on August 22 and run through October 12. Prior pop-ups at the Whippersnapper have included Barbie, The Office, Austin Powers, Game of Thrones, and Friends.

The bar’s creative team have concocted a themed menu including:

  • The Graveyard Smash: A spooky twist on classic drinks.
  • Beetlejuice!: a Delicious Frozen Cocktail with a Black and White Swirl!
  • Sandworm Tacos: Bite-sized delights with a quirky Beetlejuice flair.
  • The Beetle Burger: A killer burger topped with a green bun and spooky sauces by Burger Schmurger
